Pioneer species for ecosystem restoration in the Colombian Andes
The Biologist Carlos Salazar shared with us his experience during the Restoration process at the Nature Reserve “Charco del Indio” in VillaHermosa, Tolima, Colombia. Carlos Salazar presents us three pioneer species that are very important for restoration.
1) “Arboloco” – Smallanthus pyramidalis.
2) “Drago” – Croton sp.
3) “Chachafruto” – Erythrina edulis.
