Planting Ground (Baung Penyu)

The baby corals we obtained from the Acropora fields are then planted in our planting site- Baung Penyu. This site was once home to an impressive fringing reef. However, due to factors such as oil runoff and marine debris pollution, it has now been mostly turned into rubble. We hope that by planting our baby corals here, we can someday see Baung Penyu restored into the beautiful coral reef ecosystem it used to be.
