Vlog: Mangrove – site assessment

Weeks before the lockdown in our hometown, we visited different municipalities and potential sites for mangrove restoration and talked to different locals about existing and past programs on restoration work. It was nice to connect with people again, of course with social distancing, and witness the work they have been doing during the pandemic. We shared our project, and connect on how best we can work together and mobilize more people to understand why we need diverse mangroves as a nature-based solution for climate adaptation, and a possible livelihood for them especially that the areas we visited were typhoon-stricken areas.
